Woodford Reserve Very Fine Rare Bourbon celebrates the 15th release of their Master's Collection, created in tribute to the centuries of innovation at the 1812 distillery where Woodford Reserve is located. This release specifically celebrates the modern bourbon masters Morris and McCall, and uses spirits from barrels that date to 2003, the year that Chris Morris was named Master Distiller. The aroma is rich with oak, caramel, and vanilla, balanced with hints of cured tobacco. The palate shows the spirit's maturity but carries honey sweetness, clove spice, and a touch of citrus.
