Matured in oak and previous Sherry containers, this alluring Scotch has a ready red-apple aroma and rich salted caramel and butterscotch on the sense of taste. It's intense, with a thick, rich feel and a long complete of lip-smacking flavor cake and ocean salt water notes. Fruitier, sweeter, and more direct than the new 16 year old. Ready tangerine, plantation natural product, and caramel apples, all on a bed of nutty toffee. Fundamental notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, with a cleaning of dim chocolate. After the sweetness blurs away, there's waiting flavor and oak pitch on the completion. A decent different option for Macallan 12 year old or Glenfarclas 12 year old.
