This Award-winning recreation of 19th century whiskey offers the unique and rare flavors of Irish Pot Still. With unique flavor and complexity, Writers Tears is an homage to the tales of writers finding inspiration in whiskey glasses and the tears which followed. Writers Tears Copper Pot is distilled with both malted and unmalted barley from Aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskey. This award-winning whiskey is non-peated and matured in Flame Charred American Oak bourbon casks after its triple distillation. On the nose are hints of vanilla and crisp apple leading into a gently spiced palate with ginger and apple flavors. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of dark chocolate making for an elegant end. Sip on this unique reproduction and savor its subtle complexities.
