Wild Turkey Master's Keep Unforgotten is a special product made through a mistake. As so many great things are, this bottle was made when an otherwise unfortunate mistake was turned into a positive after a crew member accidentally mixed a batch of mature bourbon with young rye. This happened in 2010, and over a decade later this blend is a masterpiece. Bottled at 105 proof, there are caramel, sweet oak, and dried fruit flavors that are wonderfully peppered with a subtle spice from the young rye. These two whiskies are pretty much polar opposites, but pair so beautifully in this bottle. There is a beautiful fruit-forward aroma, with a finish of baking spices that will warm your heart. Wild Turkey is known for their consistency and ingenuity when it comes to whiskey making. That is why they are able to run with this bottle and turn it into a once-in-a-lifetime drinking experience.
