Lobster Reef Sauvignon Blanc 2020 is sourced from their vineyard located in the Blind River Valley of Marlborough, New Zealand. The 200 acre vineyard is situated on the Marlborough coastline and offers rocky terrain, tight soil and a relatively dry climate. Lobster Reef 2020 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a mild spring and summer growing season with late rains resulting in the early dropping of large bunches which proved to yield a clean and elegant wine. Crafted to maintain the utmost freshness and flavor of the harvest, this vintage sauvignon was fermented in one hundred percent stainless steel and offers inviting peach, apricot, citrus and herbal aromas. The palate is clean and refreshing with rich tropical flavors mingling with the vibrant aromas which carry over into the palate. For pairing, the team at CWS suggests a tangy cheese such as Fontina, Feta or Gruyere.
