Considered to be, "A bourbon so rich, you'd think you made a deal with the devil." Jim Beam Devil's Cut bourbon whiskey is a robust spirit with deep color and aroma. Blended with extra-aged Kentucky straight bourbon, Jim Beam Devil's cut is bottled at 90 proof in order to create extra depth and complexity for this premium bourbon. Through their proprietary process, Jim Beam extracts the portion of liquid that gets trapped deep inside the wood of the barrel, calling it the "Devil's share." A bourbon with an added punchiness and oak forward flavor. The aroma is intensely woody with vanilla and other spices. On the palate is more of the vanilla hints from the American oak before another heap of rich woodiness joins it. An interesting experiment that finishes long on the tongue with spice, vanilla, and more of the oak and wood forwardness.
