Hess Lion Tamer Napa Valley Red Blend has a great flavor of black raspberry and tannins. There are aromas of violets and bold lush flavors. There are juicy flavors that come up when first sipping this delicious wine. There are a variety of wines that are mixed with this wine. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon create a great mix of notes such as black plums, black currant, with notes of cocoa. the texture is rich and ripe. The core of the wine has black fruit and a perfect amount of balance of red fruit. The blend creates a wine with delicious notes of black plum, cassis, and boysenberry. The palate has cherry notes and delivers a graceful elegance and balanced finish. There is a blend of 40% Malbec, 27% Zinfandel, 21% Petite Sirah, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, and Merlot. This gives it a taste of baking spice, cherry vanilla, and a lustful palate of tannins and toasted oak.
