The maturation process that The Dalmore 25 Year has undergone included aging periods in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, 25-year-old Palomino Fino sherry cask butts, first-fill bourbon casks dated to 1980, and Portuguese Tawny Port pipes. This long life has given The Dalmore 25 Year a rich complexity that includes aromas of sweet balsamic and fig, with a palate of citrus peel, licorice, and brandy-soaked raisins.
