2 INGREDIENT COCKTAILS

Having a good cocktail every once in a while is nice; it’s even greater if you can make an easy, but yummy one in the comfort of your own home! If you like to keep things simple, then you should definitely make a 2-ingredient cocktail. A ‘Whiskey Ginger’ is a very popular drink. It’s simple and refreshing. All you do is fill a highball glass with ice and add 1.5 oz. of rye, and then fill the rest of the glass up with ginger ale. Add a lemon for garnish if you’d like. ‘The Screwdriver’ is fun and tasty. It’s an essential creation to add to your recipe book. It’s made with equal parts vodka and orange juice. 1.5 oz. of vodka is enough, unless you want it to be a bit stronger. First add the vodka to the highball glass, and then top it off with the orange juice. Rest your feet and have ‘The Paloma.’ It’s Mexico’s favorite cocktail. It’s made by mixing equal parts (¼ cup) of tequila with grapefruit-flavored soda. It can be served on the rocks with a lime wedge. Salt the rim for added fun.

Have a fruity and pretty drink that’s easy on the eyes and to create. It’s called ‘The Kalimotxo.’ It’s made with equal parts dry red wine and Coca-Cola poured over ice. If you want to dress it up a bit, just add a squeeze or orange or lemon. ‘The Greyhound’ is a calm looking drink that will please your taste buds. It’s made with vodka and grapefruit juice. Just fill a medium-sized glass with ice, pour in 2 oz. of vodka and 5 oz. of grapefruit juice, and then stir well. Garnish with a grapefruit peel to make it prettier. To make it even more fun, add a rosemary sprig for an herbal touch. Don’t forget about the most common drink of them all: ‘The Martini.’ It’s made with gin and vermouth. You can make it anyway you’d like; some like more gin, while others like more vermouth. It’s up to you since you are your own bartender now. Have fun!
