Capricorn: Goal Mine Recipe

These flavors blend with even more sweetness from lemonade, topped off with a hit of sour from fresh lime juice. The beauty of a Gold Mine lies in its complexity: the scotch makes it appropriate for a smoky evening drink, the Galliano lends it the feeling of an aperitif, and the citrus makes it an excellent summer or spring outdoor cocktail. Ingredients:

• 1 oz scotch

• 1 oz sweet sherry

• 1 oz Galliano liqueur

• 2 oz lemonade

• 2 oz lime juice

• 2 tsp egg white

1. Combine scotch, sweet sherry, Galliano liqueur, lime juice, and egg white in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

2. Shake vigorously until fully chilled and egg whites are foamy. Strain and pour into a chilled glass of your choice.

3. Top off with lemonade to create a floating layer on top of the egg white foam.

4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry or orange slice, and enjoy!
